 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NORTH BROOKFIELD!

February 28th marks the official 200th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of North Brookfield in 1812.

The Board of Selectmen will observe this important milestone at their meeting on Tuesday, February 28th at the Senior Center

The meeting will be broadcast on Local Access Channel 13 beginning at 6:00 pm

AND–WE’RE HAVING A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR DR. SEUSS

The Haston Public Library will celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a party on

Thurs., March 1 at 3:30 p.m.

The Cat in the Hat will appear courtesy of Mary Lawless, who will read a story and lead the children in a craft, followed by birthday cake and hand-outs for all attendees.  Come and help celebrate one of the most beloved children’s authors of all time.

NORTH BROOKFIELD BICENTENNIAL CALENDARS HAVE ARRIVED

What a great way to kick off our town’s bicentennial year of 2012!

1812 ~~~  ~~~  2012

The North Brookfield Bicentennial Committee is pleased to announce that Bicentennial Calendars are available for sale at the library beginning Monday, December 12th.  Photos from the North Broofield Historical Society as well as private collections highlight this special 2012 calendar.  Enjoy glimpses of North Brookfield then and now.

Calendars are priced at $10 with all proceeds to benefit the North Brookfield Historical Society. 

The calendar is proudly sponsored by North Brookfield Savings Bank.
