Haston Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, “Dream Big—Read!” will take place from July 9 – Aug. 18. Participants aged pre-K to 6th grade will receive reading logs, bookmarks, certificates of participation and prizes awarded throughout the program as levels of reading are achieved.
Special activities will include:
- drop-in crafts every Tuesday and Wednesday
- pre-school Story Hour every Tuesday
- Lynne Losurdo’s very popular Lego Club most Thursdays at 2:00
Highlights of the program will include:
- a performance by storyteller Davis Bates on Wed., July 11, at 2:00
- a presentation of “Turtle’s New Home” by the Gerwick Puppets on Wed., Aug. 15, at 2:00
- an end-of-program performance by children’s musical entertainer, Rick Goldin on Sat., Aug. 18, at a time to be announced
