Before coming to North Brookfield, Dawn served from 2008 to 2017 as Executive Director of Information Technology & Media Services at Assumption College. Prior to that she was Director of Library Services at Assumption and worked at the College of the Holy Cross Dinand Library as Head of Reader Services and Music Librarian. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, the M.Mus. from New England Conservatory of Music and the M.S. and D.A. from Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science. She has been active in library and IT professional organizations, including the American Library Association and NERCOMP, and served for several years as a Trustee of the Fobes Library in Oakham.
Dawn lives with her husband and three dogs in Oakham, where she enjoys gardening, kayaking, watching the hummingbirds, riding her Harley and playing the organ for her church.
