Please join us at the Haston Free Public Library in North Brookfield for an evening of jazz.

Laura Ramsey and Paul Courchaine of the jazz quartet Groove Trane will perform at the library on Thursday, August 3rd from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.



Laura has studied saxophone, clarinet, piano, and songwriting for 23 years and has 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience.  She majored in professional music with an emphasis on saxophone performance at Berklee College of Music.  She is a member of the Berklee Contemporary Wind Orchestra, Contemporary Chamber Music ensemble and the Bob Marley touring ensemble and has performed, recorded, and studied with many other musicians.  Laura is the leader, founder and saxophonist of the jazz quartet Groove Trane.


Paul is a professional guitarist in the Worcester area.  He is a graduate of the North Texas jazz program and has been teaching and performing for the past 20 years.  His style blends classic jazz with modern blues and rock.

These talented musicians will provide us with a relaxing summer evening of entertainment.  The program is free and open to all.
