Hello everyone,

Here is our plan for reopening the library (Phase 1 and Phase 2):

Beginning Monday, June 1st, library staff will provide curbside service during the following hours:

Mon:  4-7 pm.

Tues: 10 am-1 pm.

Weds:  4-7 pm.

Thurs: 10 am-1 pm.

Sat: 9 am-12 pm.

>>To BORROW books or other library materials from our library ONLY, please check the online catalog for availability:

1.       Go to https://catalog.cwmars.org/eg/opac/advanced

2.       Change the Search Library option to North Brookfield Haston Free Public Library.  

3.       Click on the Limit to Available check box.

4.       Enter your search.

5.       Once you have found UP TO 3 available items, please write down the following:

• title
• author
• (and call number for non-fiction items).

6.       Call the library at 508-867-0208 during the hours above, or leave a message OR email illnb@cwmars.org with the information for each item, as well as your

• library card number,
• full name and
• phone number (speak slowly, please!)

7.       If you need assistance selecting items to borrow, call the library, and staff will help find items for you as time allows.

8.       Library staff will retrieve the items, place them in a bag labelled with your name, and place it in a bin on the library porch.

9.       Library staff will call you to let you know the items are available.  We will hold the items for you for up to 2 days.

There is NO interlibrary loan delivery for the time being.

PLEASE NOTE:  You may return Haston Library items to our book drop, but please hang on to anything that you may have from other libraries.  There is no delivery service as yet, and we already have 4 bins of books waiting to be returned to their home libraries!  Thanks for your help!

PLEASE, NO DONATIONS OF BOOKS OR OTHER MATERIALS!

We are hoping that we can open the building on a limited basis starting June 15.  Stay tuned for details!   I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon!
