Kids End-of Summer Party–Saturday, Sept. 10 at 10 am

Participants in this year’s Summer Reading Program are invited to a celebration.  There will be a drawing for prizes;  2 tickets to the Big E, 2 coupons for Free Wax hand at Yankee Candle, and one pass to the USS Constitution Museum in Boston.  Every child attending will receive a friendly’s coupon for e Free Kids Meal.  Refreshments will be served.

Young Adult Book club–NEW!–Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10:00-11:00 am

Drop in to discuss the first part of this month’s book and to plan future meetings.  This month’s selection is Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard (“a sweeping tale of seventeen-year-old Mare, a common girl whose once-latent magical power draws her into the dangerous intrigue of a kin’s palace”).  Copies of the book will be available for pickup at the library beginning Sept. 1st.  All teens are welcome.

Card making Workshop–Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 5:30 pm

Adults and Teens are invited to join us at the library to create beautiful handmade greeting cards with local artist, Christine Walsh.  Each participant will go home with 2 completed cards and envelopes ready to send!  there is a $10 for this class.  Please sign up in advance in person or by phone (508-867-0208)

Knitting and Crocheting

Every Monday at 1:00 pm and Saturday at 9:00 am.  Drop in for knitters and crocheters of all levels.

Adult and Teen Coloring

Every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 pm.  the library supplies coloring pages and colored pencils.  Simply drop in.

Ukulele Jam Time–NEW!

Open to ukulele players of all levels.  Just drop in and bring your ukulele.  The library may have a few on hand for loan.  Expect to have a great time!

Adult Book Group

The September selection is The Code Talker by Joseph Bruchac.  Copies of the book are available at the library.  All are welcome.
