LEGO CLUB RETURNS!!!!!

 Weekly Lego Club started up again on Wednesday, January 16, and will meet each Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

Girls and boys of all ages are invited to build a masterpiece, which will be displayed in the Children’s Room for a week. 

*******At the first Lego Club meeting local Lego enthusiasts Bob and Carol Wheeler exhibited an assortment of their Harry Potter Lego creations, including a built-to-scale Hogwarts made from over 6000 pieces.   Hogwart’s is currently on display in the Lobby Display Case.

PRE-SCHOOL STORY TIME

“Read, Build, Play”

Community Connections pre-school story time continues each Tuesday morning at 10:15 a.m. in the Children’s Library under the direction of Patricia Lowkes.  All pre-schoolers are invited to enjoy stories, games, movement and music.  No sign-up is necessary for this activity.

NEWS UPDATE

“The big changeover happened on June 30/July 1.”

On June 30, access to Axis 360, BiblioBoard and Ebook Central ended.  This included all holds, checked out books, etc.  
On July 1, access to OverDrive began for libraries that have chosen to continue with Commonwealth eBook Collections or to those who already have access to OverDrive via their automated resource sharing network (e.g. CLAMS).
